STATEMENT

I seek an intersection of pop culture and identity as it exists in an era of rapid social change and technological advancement. Influenced by the proliferation of digital entertainment from an early age, I implement both physical and digital processes of dissection and collage to facilitate a stronger, visual language. Much like the process of developing within a hyper-consumerist, post-internet social structure, my work attempts to form an understanding of both self and cultural identity.
